Award selection is based on participation in community service activities;
academic grade point average; and the content of a 250-word essay submission.
To be eligible, scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Senior attending high school in Dekalb, Fulton, Gwinette, Cobb, Clayton, or Henry county.
- Have a cumulative high school grade point average between 2.5 and 4.0 on a 4.0 scale (most recent transcript or report card required)
- Plan to enroll in, for the first time, beginning in the upcoming fall semester, a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university, or vocational-technical school.
- Submit essay, 250 words or less, explaining how you will find time in your busy college schedule to extend a helping hand and make an impact on someone's life.
Submission deadline is May 1, 2023.
